Haddock is a special species to us, it's an item we've imported since three generations ago as a substitute for the once-plentiful lake fish available from Lake Erie. OP Haddock products are available in many ways; shatterpacked fillets, cello-wrapped fillets, IQF fillets and IQF loins.
Our OP shatterpacked haddock fillets are available as skinless and boneless fillets. Available in sizes; 3/5 oz., 5/8 oz., 8/12 oz., and 12/16 oz., our shatterpacked haddock is packed 3/15#.
OP IQF haddock fillets are available as either skin-on or skinless fillets. Available in multiple sizes; 6/8 oz., 8/10 oz., 10/12 oz., and 12/16 oz., OP IQF haddock is packed 1/10# and is guaranteed to be boneless.
OP cello-wrapped haddock fillets are a one-to-three count and are skinless and boneless, packed 10/5#.
Our haddock loins come only from the shoulder of the fish and are the "true-loin" section of the fish - the meatiest, thickest and flakiest part of the fish. Our haddock loins are available in 3 oz., 4 oz., and 5 oz. sizes, packed 1/10#.
All OP haddock products are hand-cut, ensuring that the most gentle touch is used in processing this fish. As a result, each fillet, loin or portion is individually cut under the watchful eye of our technicians. The integrity of the flesh remains top-notch and this translates into superior cut, texture, taste and appearance.
